Margaret Hamilton
This story grew out of a five word prompt for an on-line writers group. Yellow, bread and bride were the key words around which I wrote a one paragraph story about a scheming waitress poisoning the bride’s bread pudding.

I love your description of one of my favority places. We lived on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for 8 years, moving to California in 2002. We visited New Orleans often. We had taken the St. Charles streetcar. I could see and feel the place just from reading your few pages here. We returned for a visit to New Orleans in early 2005, prior to Hurricane, Katrina. I’m attending Bouchercon’s Writing Conference there this coming Septemember. It’s been a long time since I will have been in that great city. Thank you for taking me back.
